Sunday morning kicked off with the Quarterbacks and Wide Receivers running 40s and then taking to the field for some pitch and catch. Some 40s were surprising, some disappointing, and they are somewhat less meaningful when you compare result to reality. Two big WRs stole the show with their speed and ability while many couldn’t stop talking about Griffin III.
Stephen Hill – He definitely took his Wheaties this morning. Running an unofficial 4.30 40-yard dash at 6’4 215, then looking strong in the gauntlet catching the football from both sides, and having the best broad jump. Huge day, big winner. After only recording 28 receptions (although most were big plays) all I really knew coming in was he was a “freak” like Calvin and Demaryius. Obviously he showed that, but also more polish than I assumed.
