After a long and strenuous hold out, Victor Cruz is back with the New York Giants. Many believed his days with the team were numbered, but that’s all in the past now that he has signed his $2.879 million tenure. With this move, it keeps the most dangerous receiving tandem in the NFL around for another year. Cruz is still trying to get a long term deal with the team but such a deal is not imminent.
Cruz is one of the most dangerous big play receivers in the league. In the last two years he has averaged 15.6 yards per reception ranking him as one of the best in the league. He has also turned into Eli Manning’sfavorite receiver in the process, taking that role away from Hakeem Nicks.
